Firefly
Out exploring with my five year old and she went seeking fireflies. I decided to try and capture that moment.
Firefly
Fleeting flickers light the night electric
Conducting symphonies like Tesla coils
Impulse to control this moment tightly
With each grip trying not to squeeze life
Like orange pulp but rather savor these seconds
Bugging out over space shared and stardust scattered
The moon aglow, warms the air
And time hangs humid, in the seams of summer
